Fatal crash closes road for 7 hours

A WOMAN died in a car crash which closed a major road for seven hours. The woman, 35, was driving a Renault Clio on the A82 Inverness-Fort William Road at Abriachan, Northern Constabulary said.

Her passenger was seriously injured in the crash and taken to hospital by ambulance.

The driver of the second car was uninjured.
