Drugs worth £620k seized after tip–off

POLICE have seized drugs worth an estimated £620,000 in a raid.

Cocaine, heroin, amphetamine and cannabis were discovered in a building in Larkfield Industrial Estate, Greenock, around 12:30pm on Wednesday.

Strathclyde Police said the hunt for those involved in the supply of the drugs was continuing.

Chief Superintendent Alan Speirs said: “This was an intelligence-led operation as part of our initiative, Operation Myriad, which aims to target all aspects of criminality, including drugs and drug dealing, in our communities.”
