Crackdown on unlicensed drivers

POLICE forces across Scotland will today begin a four-day campaign against drivers who take to the road without a licence or insurance.

Uninsured and unlicensed drivers are responsible for hundreds of serious road crashes every year which cost the economy millions of pounds, according to the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland.
