Concerns grow for 61 year old photographer as equipment is found at a dam

THERE is growing concern for a 61-year-old man seen taking wildlife pictures in the Highlands after photography equipment is found at a dam.

The man was last seen at his home address in the Aigas area, near Beauly in Inverness-shire, early last week.

Northern Constabulary is co-ordinating extensive searches in the area and have called in Dunnonnell Mountain Rescue Team to assist.

A police spokesman said: “Photography items which may belong to the missing man were found at Aigas Dam.

“We are encouraging anyone who was walking at Aigas Dam or the surrounding area and saw a man taking pictures of wildlife any time since last Wednesday.”

The man is described as being 5ft 10in and of medium build.
