Commonwealth Games merchandising race is on track

The first Commonwealth Games-branded T-shirts, caps and keyrings are available to buy online from today.

In the run-up to the 2014 event, sports fans can also purchase pin badges to show their support or wear a “hoodie” featuring Games mascot Clyde the thistle.

All the items are available at shop.glasgow2014.com before a wider range of goods, including Clyde soft toys, is unveiled next year.

Ty Speer, deputy chief executive of Glasgow 2014, said: “Goods will eventually be rolled-out and I am looking forward to being able to reveal the full array of Games merchandise.”
