Appeal after man followed and attacked in Glasgow

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 24-year-old man was followed home from his workplace and attacked.

The man left work at Crow Road in west Glasgow at 5:30pm on Monday and walked to his silver BMW 3 Series car parked a short distance away on Abbey Drive, where he noticed a dark coloured Audi A3 parked with its lights on.

Throughout the five-mile journey to the south of the city the man was aware of the Audi following him.

When he got out of his car at Ravenscraig Drive, in Pollok, a man got out of the Audi and began beating the 24-year-old with a baton.

The suspect smashed the BMW’s windows before getting back into the Audi and driving west towards Peat Road.

The attacker is 5ft 9in tall and was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.
