Appeal after death of pedestrian

An ELDERLY pedestrian stuck by a car at the weekend has died.

John Sangster, from Montrose, suffered a head injury after being hit in the town’s Baltic Street at around lunchtime on Saturday.

The 79-year-old, known locally as Gordon, died on Tuesday night at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Tayside Police are investigating and have appealed for information.
