Weather chaos

We HAVE been reading reports about the same towns being flooded again and again, and fear the chaos caused by snowdrifts on our roads and railways.

What does this say to the taxpayers and the commuters of the UK? Simply that the government has not a clue, the environment agencies are incompetent, the railway’s network engineers are hopeless and the local authorities have failed to sort out the mess that continues to leave taxpayers abandoned by council chiefs who have failed to repair the defences that have been promised over many years. I say sack all the highly-paid
officers and get the skilled ground workers out to prevent the UK being swamped by the white collars in their grossly overpaid jobs behind their comfortable desks, where they will get gold-plated pensions.
