Streets of shame

The Edinburgh festivals are about to start and I am embarrassed, ashamed and worried about the state of the roads.

Will people be able to move with ease between venues?

Will they be so badly inconvenienced that they never want to come back to our beautiful city?

Will things ever get back to normal? I doubt it.
