Basket case I am astonished to learn that the Treasury is about to appoint an employee – one of out of a total of 1,300, based in Scotland – for the sole purpose of illustrating that despite, 300 years of London rule, Scotland remains some kind of economic basket case. Given the terms of the advert, this post is of a blatantly propagandist nature and, therefore, all the costs involved should be bourne by the Tories Together NO campaign rather than Scottish or UK taxpayers.
