Richard Lucas (Letters, 5 November) mistakenly supposes that my concern over the claims of neuroscientists is “about the mind”.

My point was about human behaviour not the “body/mind” question that defeated even Aristotle 2,000 years ago and confounds better “minds” than mine today.
