AS Team GB exceeds their gold medal haul of the Beijing Games, the whole country is sharing in the delight at the athletes’ success.

National Lottery funding has been worth its weight in gold helping our elite athletes to train full-time and benefit from world-class coaching and facilities.

What an inspiration the Team GB athletes of London 2012 are to youngsters. Whether they take up sport to an elite level or participate for fitness and fun; beyond the success of 2012, the Lottery will be there to support them.
