Following the financial troubles faced by Rangers, and now Hearts, and with our national football team also in the doldrums, it was fantastic to see Celtic restore some pride to the Scottish game with a well-deserved win over one of the great teams in world football, Barcelona.

For a heart-warming  moment Scottish football made the headlines for all the right reasons.
