A simple yes or no would do

IT IS quite clear that the vast majority of Scottish voters would like to see a simple one-question referendum on independence and not to muddy the waters with any other additional questions.

The matter is of such significance and importance it is right that the question should be worded by some independent group to allow a fair and clear referendum to take place. It is therefore incumbent on the First minister Alex Salmond to ensure an arms-length approach in this matter otherwise it could be construed as bias, which could actually backfire with the electorate and go against his lifetimes expectations.
