‘Regret’ after gate at embassy rammed

Seoul has expressed regret to Tokyo after a South Korean man rammed a lorry into the Japanese embassy’s gate in anger over an earlier demonstration by a Japanese activist.

The 62-year-old man told officers he was protesting over a Japanese right-wing activist’s sign near the embassy.
