Philippine peace agreement nears

Philippine president Benigno Aquino III has said a final peace agreement with Muslim rebels may be signed next month.

The 11,000-strong Moro rebel group had been waging a long-running rebellion for self-rule in the south of the country. It signed a preliminary peace agreement in October.
