Porcupines point way to better jabs

Porcupine quills, which provide a clean cut, could help scientists develop less painful hypodermic needles, research has suggested.

Dr Jeffrey Karp, one of the US team involved, said: “This should be useful to develop next-generation needles with reduced pain.”
