New plant disease found in juniper
A NEW plant disease, which was only identified in the UK last year, has been found in rare juniper bushes.
The fungus-like organism that can kill the plant has been identified in the North Pennines. It was found last year at two sites in Scotland in trees which are part of the Cypress family, like juniper.
