Claim ‘dead seals left on beach’

CONSERVATIONISTS claim the dead bodies of seals, legally shot off the coast of Gardenstown, near Banff in Aberdeenshire, are being left on the shoreline.

Vicky Hewitt, who discovered two of the dead seals yards from her front door, said: “We can’t have dead seals just left on our shore like this.”

Usan Salmon Fisheries denied the allegations.
