Rolls-Royce wins £133m engine deal
Rolls-Royce has won a $210 million (£133m) deal to supply Fiji’s national carrier Air Pacific with Trent 700 engines for three Airbus A330 planes.
Dave Pflieger, managing director, Air Pacific, said: “The A330s will be our first new wide-body aircraft, so the Trent 700 engines represent an exciting and significant investment in leading-edge operational technology and support service for the future of our business.”
Rolls-Royce said the Trent 700 is the only engine specifically designed for the A330 model.
