Brightwork shines in drinks sector
BOOMING global sales in the Scotch whisky industry have led to record turnover and profits at Brightwork Group, a recruitment firm that supplies temporary staff to the food and drink sectors.
Revenues rose by 43 per cent to £26.3 million in 2011, with pre-tax profits up 68 per cent to just under £1m.
Managing director Anthony Knight said: “The temporary employment market has always been more resilient and robust than the permanent.”
Knight said he wanted to grow turnover to £50m within the next five years.
