NICK Robinson, the BBC’s political editor, renowned Middle East correspondent Jeremy Bowen, and best-selling sci-fi author Iain M Banks are among the leading names which will be taking part in this year’s Dundee Literary Festival.
The festival, which will be staged from 24 to 28 October, will feature 42 events, including the annual Dundee Comics Day, which this year features Scottish author Grant Morrison, writer of Superman, Batman and X-Men, as its star guest.
Anna Day, Dundee Literary Festival’s director, said a programme had been put together to appeal to as many people as possible.
Other authors set to appear at the festival include novelists Alan Warner and Christopher Brookmyre, as well as Gregory’s Girl star John Gordon Sinclair, who has just released his debut novel.
