A LIB Dem Lothians MSP is supporting a campaign to keep a Tesco store in Haddington.
Jim Hume, who represents the South of Scotland, said moving it to the outskirts of Haddington could be "very damaging".

He is meeting members of the local business association to discuss their concerns this week. "If Haddington Tesco moves it will take all the shoppers with it. This could be potentially very damaging to local trade," he said.

Tesco has submitted a planning application for a new, larger store at Gateside East.

Tescos and other supermarket chains shoudn't be allowed all the stores and to sell everything that anyone could possible want and more. Surely it's against the compation policeys.
