SCOTTISH Rugby has announced that ticket prices will either be frozen or, in certain cases, reduced for the visits of Wales, Italy and Ireland to Murrayfield for next year's Six Nations Championship.
Scottish Rugby's Chief Executive Gordon McKie said: "International match days at Murrayfield are an important source of revenue to fund rugby activity at all levels throughout the country.

Clearly there is a balance to be struck between giving as many supporters a chance to be in the stadium in person and reinvesting ticket revenues in the game in Scotland.

I believe today's announcement…underlines our intention to ensure we remain competitively priced and that international rugby remains accessible to all our supporters."

Scotland's home matches will be: Wales, Sunday 8 February (kick-off 3pm). Italy, Saturday 28 February (3pm) and Ireland, Saturday 14 March (kick-off 5pm).
Tickets for the visit of Wales and Ireland will cost £30, £45 and £60 for adults with under-18 reductions at £15, £22.50 and £30, while the Italy game adult tickets are £20, £30 and £60 with students and under-18s able to buy tickets at £10, £15 and £30.

The tickets go on sale from the Scottish Rugby Ticket Centre, Roseburn Street, Murrayfield, Edinburgh on 6th May at 9am. The Ticket Centre is open from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Why is students can get reduced price tickets only for the Italian Match and not the matches against Wales and Ireland?

The SRU say that tickets wont be available on match days, so they think that all will be sold out - after the performances this year I dont think so.

After recent performances should they not pay us to go?
At £20.00 per hour normal time (double time on a sunday and Time and a half on a saturday)i could just about "smile" when Scotland next get hammered (buys the booze to drown my sorrows if I charge the SRU that rate)
