Craig Yuille, Duddingston: "Overall I'm disappointed at the final result. If Levein really can't understand why no-one wants to talk to him about what would have happened had the referee not added on ten minutes they should sack him now - listening to him after the game his interviews are even more annoying than his selections and substitutions."

Andy Brown, Duddingston: "What a terrible performance. How did we manage to snatch victory? We had real problems for the entire game. The players looked weary and off the pace of the game. The movement of Boyd was woeful. Their keeper was almost a spectator. A last-minute winner against one of Europe's worst teams is not good enough."

Lisa MacLeod, Leith: "My only comment is well done Stephen McManus - I loved the suspense - intentional I have no doubt!"

Lisa Kelly, Canonmills: "Yet another night of being put through the trials and tribulations of yet another case of Scotland making life difficult for themselves. But in the end, who cares as we got the three points anyway."

Mark Summers, Bahrain: "I'm not sure whether the spectacle of players on 10,000 a week grinning because they beat a country with the same population as Perth is a relief or a scandal but I'll take it overall. We were very lucky."

Steve McKenzie, Bellevue: "Levein was embarrassing celebrating our winner like he had won the World Cup. Scotland are shocking and we will not be at Euro 2012."

Frazer Henderson, Hawkhill: "Levein has shown through this performance that he is out of his league and he should walk now. He should also take Wallace, McFadden, Brown and Boyd with him."

Frank Taylor, Granton: "For far too long the Scottish national team has been more scared of losing than willing to try and get a result and that came to a head tonight. What we need is for a team to be scared to come back into the dressing room after that kind of performance. There are few managers about these days that can put that kind of fear into players - Alex Ferguson and Graeme Souness are two that spring to mind and that is exactly the kind of Scotland manager you want. Ferguson won't be interested but I'd have Souness in charge any day of the week ahead of Levein."

Simon Taylor, Granton: "I'm in two minds about this result really. Yes, we needed the three points desperately but is it just covering up the cracks over our obvious problem areas and are we just really going to see them be highlighted again in Prague? I don't think we'll be anywhere near Euro 2012 and maybe a loss might have put everything into perspective and given us a more long-term strategy of qualifying for Brazil 2014. Pass marks go to very few out there tonight, Hutton and Morrison maybe being the two players who made any kind of impact."

Harry Swarbrick, Craigleith: "I'm not confident at all about the Spain/Czech double header after this result."

Davie Swinton, Balgreen: "We were getting overrun in the midfield, primarily because they had an extra man due to us playing two strikers up front. Even if we'd had to go to a 4-5-1 to combat that it would have given more balance. The fact Levein couldn't see that is worrying."

Tom Johnstone, South Queensferry: "God knows what the Spaniards will do if we play like that in a month's time. Levein has a lot of work to do, first of all he needs to get to grips with the squad he has and realise what formations work best. 4-4-2 is not the answer with this set of players. I'd love to see us qualify for Euro 2012 but on this evidence it won't be happening."

Malky Moriarty, Niddrie: "The easy answer is to say we weren't good enough. But when you start to look at it a bit more you wonder why guys like Boyd can do a job at club level against sides a lot better than Liechtenstein but toil when it comes to the internationals. I hope Craig Levein can find some of the answers before we go to Prague."

Calum Sinclair, Musselburgh: "Sickening to see the manager laughing and joking with the team at the end. He should have marched every one of those "players" into the dressing room and given them the home truths they deserve. Maybe we needed to lose to get the wakeup call."
