Andy Earlston, Leith: "I thought that, for the first hour of the game, we were simply unstoppable. No team in Scotland could have lived with us during that spell. We took our foot off the gas for the last quarter as the team changes had that affect."
Drew Smith, Pilrig: "I was very happy with the game plan. Liam Miller and Kevin McBride were brilliant in the midfield and I was very happy with the goals but the defence would have been punished by a better team."
Paul Jimmes, Leith: "Yes that was more like it from the Hibs but, being fair to Hamilton, they had their chances as well. Great goals, great game and a great result for Hibs."
Donald McQueen, Leith: "I don't want to praise the players too highly as it was only Hamilton. They are no mugs, but we have a big game on Wednesday and, if we can reproduce that form at Parkhead, then I will really praise the players."
Alan Stanley, Musselburgh: "It was good from all the players and Stokes and Riordan looked likely to score at any time."
Jamie Kelly, Leith: "We can be happy with that performance, as scoring five against any team in the SPL is good. Best for Hibs was Stokes but I thought that Rankin had a good game too."
Ian Haston, Edinburgh: "After that we can build on it for the rest of the season. We have hopefully got over our winter blues and Stokes and Riordan can get 20 goals each this season."
Francis Ramsey, Niddrie: "Three-nil at half time was great and we only took off the pressure with the three subs. Nish was good but I thought that Stokes was the man of the match."
Gary Paul, Leith: "Looking good. I was drooling at the football we played at times. Now we need to keep this standard for the next games."
Ian Scott, Granton: "Well played by Hibs and it could have been more if we had kept the pressure on."
Jonny Bishop, Granton: "We deserved that. Much better from Hibs after some ropey results recently. Best player for Hibs was Stokes or Riordan – take your pick."
Paul Muir, Duddingston: "Great play on a pitch that caused problems and to score five was magic."
Ryan Miller, Lochend: "At last we have clicked. I always had a feeling that it would happen some time and now if we can repeat this in the coming weeks then third will be ours. The best player for Hibs was Stokes. He scored two and he played really well."
John Dalrymple, The Inch: "Disappointed then we didn't hit ten but, seriously, we were great in the first hour of the game as we put on a sparkling performance that tore them to shreds."
John Scott, Moredun: "What a result. It was good for the team to click after last week's disappointment at Tannadice. It was the best we have played for ages and it could have been many more if we wanted to really rub it in."
