Stuart Sullivan, Restalrig: "Another frustrating afternoon for Hearts. We just don't have players who look capable of putting the ball in the net. The transfer window can't come quickly enough."
Joe Thornton, Dalry: "I'm content with the result. I didn't expect much from the game. Kello did well and he made some brilliant saves to secure a point for us."
Jim Hope, Westfield: "We could have played all day and it still would have ended up 0-0. There is no cutting edge in the team. A draw was probably the fairest result."
Graham Curran, Saughton: "You can't fault the players for endeavour and I thought that we showed a big improvement on last week's display but there aren't many goals in the side."
Allan Lee, Gilmerton: "The events at Hamilton might prove to be a blessing in disguise because we were fired up for it. If we play with that level of determination every week, we'll win a few games."
Harry Park, Craigmillar: "It was always going to be a tough game for us with so many players missing but we deserved a draw. I'd like to see more players like Scott Robinson and fewer like Larry Kingston given a chance."
John Henry, Musselburgh: "If that had been a boxing match, we'd have won on points but we don't have anyone capable of delivering a knockout blow. If you don't score, you can't win."
Alex Kane, Currie: "Spirited stuff from Hearts and it is a good point despite the best efforts of the referee to give the game to United. Michael Stewart was terrific and he was my man of the match."
Ronnie Hannah, Barnton: "We had most of the ball but the best chances fell to United. We are missing Andy Driver and there is no natural replacement for him at the club."
William Inglis, Tollcross: "We took the game to United and we looked really determined to get something from the match but it was the same old story. The problems are clear to see."
Wee Keith, Albion Terrace: "What a scrappy game. Lee Wallace, Christian Nade and Craig Thomson were the only outfield players who tried a leg. The only excitement in the game was when Marian Kello saved the penalty. He had a really good game with a few good saves. If it hadn't been for him, we would have been staring defeat in the face again. The shots that we did have at their goal were all miles off target. Something drastic must be done to help pull us up to the right end of the table. At one time teams used to fear coming to Tynecastle but those days have gone and we need them back."
