John Ingram, Musselburgh: "It was a poor game but a great result. It was really a hard slog on a pudding of a pitch. I thought Liam Miller was good as was Paul Hanlon at the back. Good to get the win at the end of the day and delighted to get back on the winning trail."
Stewart Muir, Southside: "We didn't play all that well but won the game. The three points is welcome as we haven't been firing on all cylinders recently. We only fired on one on Saturday but it got us the points."
Keith Carter, Gracemount: "Thank goodness and at last we got a win. We deserved it as Kilmarnock's efforts were shocking and I don't think that they troubled Stack at all."
Gary McDonough, Gracemount: "Stokes was running on empty at the end of the game as he tried hard all day. Benji just didn't look the part when he came on but that free-kick from Deek was something special."
Michael Fraser, Gilmerton: "I'm relieved that we won after a shocking penalty miss by Benji. That was a big disappointment but Derek Riordan stepped up to the mark with a brilliant free-kick to win the game. He is pure class."
Craig McCallum, Leith: "All the players looked like they were spent after an afternoon of playing football on a pitch that was like a beach. Full marks to the boys for getting us a win and back to winning ways at last."
Kenny Hunter, Granton: "We deserved to win the game but the performance was pretty bad. We were better than Kilmarnock so we deserved it."
Alan McGarvey, Granton: "Paul Hanlon came on and was superb. I hope Yogi doesn't drop him after a performance like that. Great free kick to win the game by Deek."
Brian Murray, Goldenacre: "I though it was just a matter of time before we scored. If Benji had converted the penalty we would have won by a few more than one. It was a bit strange playing in front of an empty terracing."
David Eddington, Broughton: "We just did enough to win the game. I'm glad February is over and we are back on the winning trail."
Mark Donaldson, Leith: "A bullet of a free-kick to win the game shows that Deek hasn't lost any of his ability."
Paul Donaldson Leith: "I can't recall Kilmarnock threatening Stack's goal on any occasion but we didn't play all that well either."
Andrew Dorman Polbeth: "Sharpest player on the park was Miller. He controlled the game and I'm glad he didn't get booked and is available for the derby game – a must-win for us."
Steve Young, Musselburgh: "Believe it or not, I enjoyed the game unlike some of my mates. The players struggled to control the ball on that pitch, but Lionel Messi would struggle to control the football on that pitch."
Ross Merchant, Lochend: "A few players going off early didn't help us but we didn't really miss Bamba or Gow as we won the game."
Paul O'Brien, Leith: "Whatever the players tried was made extremely hard by the bobbles on the pitch and by Kilmarnock players, who just shut us down at every opportunity. They were there for a draw but it was a brilliant free-kick by Derek Riordan for the winner."
