Young will be fit for fight
GILMERTON pro welterweight boxer Gary Young will be fit to box after a long spell out due to a broken bone in his hand at a show at Glasgow's SECC Arena in June, his coach Billy Nelson has confirmed.
Nelson said: "Gary will be fully fit to make his comeback on the June bill for promoter Barry Hughes."
Unbeaten Capital pro super-middleweight, Kenny Anderson, will also box on the same bill to keep sharp for his bout against Welshman Nathan King on the postponed Alex Arthur versus Joan Guzman bill, whenever it takes place.
