Volleyball: City of Edinburgh will give Killie respect
CITY of Edinburgh will not fall into the trap of underestimating Kilmarnock when they host them in volleyball's Top Teams Cup tomorrow, writes RODDY MACKENZIE.
The Ayrshire side have not won a match in the competition so far but beat champions Glasgow Mets in the Schelde Sports Scottish League last weekend.
Unbeaten Edinburgh moved two points clear at the top of the league last weekend and will welcome the distraction of the Top Teams Cup.
After tomorrow, Edinburgh face second-placed Glasgow Mets and then Bon Accord (third) in the league so much will be learned of their title credentials.
In the women's Top Teams Cup tomorrow, City of Edinburgh face Edinburgh Jets.
