Volleyball: All-Capital finals chance
History could be made in the Scottish Volleyball Cup this season with the semi-final draw throwing up the possibility of all-Edinburgh finals in both men’s and women’s competitions for the first time.
Holders City of Edinburgh have been paired with last season’s league champions Kilmarnock Blaze in the men’s competition, with Edinburgh Jets facing Glasgow Mets in the other semi-final.
In the women’s draw, Edinburgh Jets face North Lanarkshire, and City of Edinburgh, the holders, take on Troon Team Ayrshire in a repeat of last season’s final. The semi- final ties will all be played at Edinburgh University’s Pleasance Sports Complex on April 7.
