Visit to Tynie always fires us up – Yogi

FALKIRK have enjoyed some memorable tussles with Hearts since their return to the SPL in 2005 and Bairns boss John Hughes is expecting another epic encounter at Tynecastle tomorrow as his team bids to extend their six-game unbeaten run.

"Tynecastle is a great place to play football," said Yogi. "There's always a great atmosphere and the crowd's right on top of you. There are a lot of guys in my squad who relish the thought of playing there. We beat Hearts on our own patch earlier in the season but I'll admit we rode our luck a bit that day.

"The SPL benefits from a strong Hearts side and they are going very well just now. We know that we'll have to be at our best if we're to keep the unbeaten run going."

Hughes is disappointed that former Jambo Neil McCann will not be fit for tomorrow's clash, the veteran midfielder having failed to recover from the hamstring injury he suffered against Inverness last midweek.

"It would have been great to have Neil fit for this one," said Hughes. "He would have loved the chance to take the field at Tynecastle but there's no way we could risk letting him play."

Falkirk have doubts over two unnamed players.
