Unbeaten trio aiming to stay out in front

BOWLS: West Lothian, Prestwick and Blantyre are the only unbeaten teams in the Premier Division of the national indoor league and they will be out to consolidate pole position after today's third round of action.

In Section A, West Lothian and Prestwick are both on four points with only 26 shots separating them. West Lothian have an away match against pointless Arbroath while Prestwick are at home to a Midlothian team who have produced vastly differing performances in their previous two matches – beating Auchinleck by 14 shots in their opener and then crashing by 33 shots at Livingston.

In Section B, last year's beaten finalists, Blantyre, have a two-point cushion on Coatbridge, East Lothian, Dundee and Aberdeen, who all have one win and one defeat on the board to date.

Blantyre face promoted Dundee, second-placed Coatbridge have a home match against Falkirk while three-in-a-row winners and title holders East Lothian travel to Aberdeen.
