Chip pan fire injures woman

A WOMAN was taken to hospital with burns to her hands and face following a fire in Musselburgh.

The 26-year-old injured herself trying to put out a chip pan fire inside a house on Champigny Court shortly before 8:40pm last night.

Fire crews arrived to find that the fire had been extinguished successfully, but found the woman with slight burns.
