Title brace for MacLean in Revolution Series
CYCLING: Craig MacLean posted an impressive double in the opening round of the Revolution Series at Manchester Velodrome on Saturday night.
The 38-year-old Scot was quickest in qualifying then eased past British Paralympian Jody Cundy and the Spaniard Itmar Esteban before chalking up a comfortable win over Esteban's countryman Alfredo Moreno in the final.
He also tasted success in the Keirin, where he beat fellow Briton Chris Pritchard and the Italian Roberto Chiappa.
Meanwhile, John Paul, a 16-year-old from Lybster, set a new British age group record of 11.30 seconds for the flying 200 metres.
