Third division: Title-chasing Arbroath stretch their lead at the top

Arbroath 2, Berwick Rangers 1

Arbroath moved six points clear at the top of the table thanks to goals from Keith Gibson, who scored with a first-half header and Steven Doris, who netted on 52 minutes.

Darren Hill's own goal gave Berwick a late consolation.

Elgin City 2, Annan Athletic 3

Annan emerged victorious in a five-goal thriller at Borough Briggs. Sean O'Connor and Kevin Neilson scored for Annan before the break.

David Gormley and Craig Gunn drew the home side level before Elgin's Alan Dempsie's own goal.

Montrose 0, Albion Rovers 2

Albion Rovers kept their promotion hopes alive with a comfortable 2-0 win at Montrose.

John Gemmill gave Rovers the perfect start after only seven minutes. Scott Chaplain sealed the points for the visitors in the 76th minute.

Queen's Park 3, Stranraer 3

kevin Nicol's 13th minute opener for Stranraer was cancelled out by Martin McBride before Craig Malcolm fired the visitors back in front.

Armand One scored Stranraer's third but Ricky Little and Jamie Longworth salvaged a point.
