Livingston strengthen grip on title after defeating Stranraer
Livingston 2 Stranraer 1
LIVINGSTON moved 11 points clear at the top to strengthen their grip on the title.
Livi took the lead in the 27th minute through a Liam Fox diving header and their lead was doubled moments later by Robbie Winters. Stranraer pulled a goal back with five minutes to go through a 20-yard volley from Michael Moore.
Annan Athletic 0 Queen's Park 2
QUEEN'S Park took a deserved lead on the stroke of half-time when Michael Daly pounced to lash home from close range.
They almost doubled their lead just after the break when Martin McBride's goal-bound strike was brilliantly blocked by Craig Summersgill. Jack Henry, however, made sure in the final minute.
Berwick Rangers 2 Elgin City 1
BERWICK held on to win a tight encounter. Damon Gray hit his eighth goal of the season to put Berwick in front and Stuart Callaghan doubled their advantage three minutes from the break. But Elgin cut the deficit seven minutes into the second half when the ball came off the unfortunate David Greenhill into his own net.
East Stirlingshire 2 Montrose 3
MONTROSE hurt East Stirlingshire's promotion hopes with a shock win.
The bottom-of-the-table side were two goals up midway through the first half when John Gemmell and Aaron Sinclair struck. Jim Stevenson pulled a goal back before Daryl Nicol made it 3-1. Stevenson netted a late penalty.
Forfar Athletic 1 Albion Rovers 1
IT was Chris Boyle who had Albion Rovers ahead after half an hour, a goal that put the home side under more pressure after their run of four successive defeats.
Their lead didn't last though, as Forfar's Ross Campbell equalised in the second half with his 17th goal of the campaign to stop the rot.
