Third division: Jim Duffy confident for clash with leaders

Clyde may be hosting league leaders Arbroath tonight, but Jim Duffy's men have shown they can hold their own against the league's best sides.

They earned a deserved draw at Albion Rovers on Saturday and Duffy, who will be without the suspended Kevin Finlayson, said: "I was really pleased with how the boys battled at the weekend and if we do that again I am sure we will do well."

A win for Arbroath would move Paul Sheerin's side seven points clear of the chasing pack and he said: "We can convert a game in hand into points and we have to show that we are serious about doing well this season."

Elgin City are without Paul Kaczan for the visit of Berwick Rangers after a controversial red card at the weekend, but Neil MacDonald returns after a ban.

Berwick are without a host of regulars, but had their confidence boosted by a 3-1 win over Queen's Park on Saturday.

In the evening's other match, stand-in Montrose manager Ray Farningham takes charge for the visit of East Stirling following Steven Tweed's resignation.
