Third division: Lions rampant at Elgin as Berwick hit four at Stranraer
ELGIN City 1 Livingston 6 Livingston remain at the top of the Third Division following their 6-1 destruction of Elgin City at Borough Briggs.
A first-half double from Keaghan Jacobs and a David Winters strike gave Livi an unassailable half-time lead.
After the break, an own goal from Mark Nicholson, and further goals from Andrew Halliday and Jason Talbot put the Lions out of sight. Elgin's Craig Gunn notched a consolation in the 73rd minute.
Stranraer 2 Berwick Rangers 4
Berwick got the better of Stranraer in a six-goal thriller at Stair Park.
A David Mitchell own goal and a Damon Gray effort had put Berwick 2-0 up but goals from Darren McGeough and Stuart McColm dragged the hosts back on level terms.
However, defender Jamie Ewart put Berwick back in front before Gray added his second to seal a 4-2 win.
Stranraer's pain was to be increased when Murray Henderson was ordered off late on for serious foul play.
Forfar Athletic 2 Annan Athletic 1
Forfar moved four points clear of opponents Annan after they held on for a 2-1 win at Station Park.
Ross Campbell fired the home side ahead after 23 minutes and Ian Harty soon doubled the Loons' lead.
David Cox pulled one back for Annan shortly after the interval but Forfar's resistance was strong enough to emerge with the three points.
Queen's Park 1 East Stirling 0
Queen's Park secured a much needed 1-0 win over East Stirling at Hampden Park.
The hosts' debutant keeper Peter Hamilton made an inspired start to his Queen's Park career, saving Andy Rodgers' 12th minute penalty.
A dreary encounter was settled by Frankie Carroll's well taken 75th minute winner.
Albion Rovers 0 Montrose 0
At Cliftonhill, Albion Rovers appeared to miss the recently sacked Bobby Barr as they were held to a goalless draw against bottom club Montrose.
