The road to Valhalla

THE 37th Ryder Cup will be played at Valhalla Golf Club, Louisville, Kentucky, from September 19-21.

The US Ryder Cup side will be made up of the top eight US golfers on the Ryder Cup points list, based on earnings from the four majors and other significant tournaments, plus four wildcard selections from captain Paul Azinger on September 2.

The European side will comprise the top five Europeans on the world points list plus the top five money earners on the European Tour who are not already qualified, plus two captain's picks from Nick Faldo on August 31.
