Swiss washout for Ladies Open

Heavy rain washed out a second day of the Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open, with the final two rounds of the now reduced 54-hole event at Golf Gerre Losone to take place today.

Tournament director Andy Lott said: "The greens staff will be working late tonight and early tomorrow to make the course playable and fortunately good conditions are forecast."

Sweden's Carin Koch shot a second-round 66 before the heavens opened on Friday and leads by one from England's Laura Davies, who had completed nine holes of her round.
