St MIrren boss rages over missing subs board
ST MIRREN manager Gus MacPherson blasted fourth official David Somers after the electronic substitute board was missing as he tried to make a change seconds before Aberdeen grabbed an injury-time equaliser last night.
The Paisley side were ahead through a 77th-minute Craig Dargo goal. However, deep into the added time, MacPherson was unable to get substitute Dennis Wyness on for Dargo due to the board being missing and, whilst it was sought, Dons substitute Tommy Wright headed a dramatic equaliser.
MacPherson said: "Someone took the board away. Whether someone had taken it without the fourth official knowing I don't know but it is a lack of professionalism on somebody's part."
