Men to get their own hour

RADIO 5 Live is to launch a male-focused answer to long-running BBC series Woman's Hour.

The new show, Men's hour With Tim Samuels is to launch this month with figures from sport, entertainment and politics chatting about issues which affect men.

The BBC said the show was "less about leering at ladies and more concerned with how to maintain monogamy, this is the men's magazine women have been waiting for".

Pineapple Dance Studios star Louie Spence will be a regular guest in the six-part series of hour-long shows which launch on Sunday 18 July. Regular features will include Questions You Daren't Ask Your Doctor.
