SPL fix new dates for 17 postponed matches

The Scottish Premier League has rearranged 17 matches that fell victim to the recent cold snap but several may have to be rescheduled further.

The midweek matches start on 12 January when Dundee United host Motherwell and Celtic visit Hamilton Accies in a match to be screened live on Sky Sports.

Three matches have been pencilled in for 18 January, including Rangers' home game against St Mirren, but each of those is dependent on none of the teams playing Scottish Cup fourth-round replays.

There is now a full fixture card the following midweek and another one was already scheduled for the last midweek in January.

Midweek fixtures will take place in each week in February apart from the second, when Scotland face Northern Ireland in the Carling Nations Cup.
