SPL Fanzone: St Mirren
IT WAS a pretty bad weekend all round. The defeat to Celtic was disappointing, although not unexpected, but losing Andy Dorman to injury for at least a month was something we could have done without.
Then on Sunday we found out we're going to have to make do without him on a more permanent basis. At the agm, it was announced that Dorman and Stephen McGinn are extremely unlikely to stay once their contracts expire in the summer. Both losses will be major blows, although the departure of Dorman is no surprise. As the collapse of Setanta has left us skint, it's likely one or both could be sold for well below their real value in January. Early indications suggest we won't be signing anyone in January, but if one of McGinn and Dorman goes we must bring in a replacement.
