SPL Fanzone: St Mirren

IT WAS an international week that promised much and delivered little for Saints fans. After seeing two of our players called up into squads, many of us had hoped we'd see someone capped for the first time in over a decade. Alas, it was not to be. It was no surprise that Paul Gallacher didn't play but it's a shame Andy Dorman didn't get onto the pitch. After all the media attention and after getting on the subs bench, it's a bit odd he didn't get his first cap.

Usually we have Stephen McGinn's impressive performances for Scotland's under-21 side to fall back on in situations like these, but even he didn't play as he was injured.

The break does have one positive, however. It should allow some of our injuries to clear up ahead of Saturday's game against Hibs.
