SPL Fanzone: St Johnstone

A DISAPPOINTING performance and result on Saturday – with a couple of silly goals conceded and chances spurned. What I would have done to have swapped goalkeepers on Saturday. I like Graeme Smith – he has been solid this season – but it was his error that cost the first goal, while his opposite number John Ruddy looked solid and commanding throughout. It is a result we need to get out of our system ASAP.

After a series of games against higher-ranked opposition, we now play at Falkirk on Saturday, before welcoming Aberdeen to McDiarmid Park on Tuesday night.

A couple of wins would rid us of any prospect of relegation, and put us in a position to mount a late fight for a top-six place. I don't think we'll do it, but there's no harm in dreaming.
