SPL Fanzone: Rangers

ALTHOUGH only 45 minutes were played at Tannadice, the football on display from both sides was impressive and exciting while it lasted. I wasn't alone in thinking the game shouldn't even have been started but the commitment from Rangers showed our players recognise the best way to deal with the off-pitch shambles is playing well and responding to the magnificent support.

One particular cameo made me smile. Boyd and Lafferty had been chipping at each other for most of the half, yet when big Kyle went down in the box and United players rushed over to accuse him (wrongly) of diving, Kris Boyd was first on the scene to defend his team-mate. That's the sort of thing that binds the Rangers family closer together, and together is ultimately the only way we will fight our way out of the swamp.
