SPL Fanzone: Hibs
AS EXPECTED, Hibs cruised through to the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup with a 5-1 win over Montrose - without ever really breaking out of 1st gear. Goals aplenty from the forwards, as well as a debut strike for Alan Gow made for light work of Scotland's lowest ranked professional team.
Hibs now turn their attention back to the league and tonight's game against Aberdeen when Mr McGoo returns ER with the bleating from his last visit still fresh in the minds of everyone at Hibs. It seems that very few managers lose with good grace and McGoo is right up there in the moaning managers top ten. Three points from this game would set us up brilliantly for Sunday's top of the league encounter at Ibrox, and Hibs should need no team talk for this one. Just a replay of the gubbing we got from Rangers last time out should be enough to ensure we do our best to stay in touch.
