SPL Fanzone: Hearts
GIVEN our current injury and suspension list it was a surprise that JJ even had a squad to chose from on Sunday.
The situation almost became farcical when we lost Michael Stewart to injury before kick-off, although the stadium announcer at Tannadice seemed oblivious to this. Against this backdrop we started well and could consider ourselves slightly unfortunate not be leading at half-time.
Dundee United's increasing desperation was well illustrated by the constant claims for a penalty whenever the ball went anywhere near our box.
On the basis of the second-half performance though we didn't deserve anything from the game.
Depending on what happens in the Scottish Cup, fifth place could be good enough for Europe and in that respect Saturday's game against Motherwell is simply a must win.
